A lot of you have been asking for another club night and we have ignored you… until now. We are looking at a few possible venues and hope to have a club night in October. This time we’ll be going back to North London which will please a lot of you (sorry to all you South Londoners).

My Awesome Mixtape have been asked to DJ every last Sunday at the Gowlett pub in East Dulwich. First one kicks-off this Sunday (26th Oct).
It will be more chilled out than our club nights… come along to enjoy good food, good beer and good music. I really can’t recommend the Gowlett enough, it has a great vibe with local artists displaying their work and it serves (in my opinion) the best Pizza in London.
Hope to see some of you there. We will be on 6.30pm-11.30pm.

Just a quick note to say thank you for making Mixtape so amazing again on Friday. Good to see smiley faces, people dancing and enjoying it… makes it worthwhile.

Important info for this Friday:
• Card & Cash – Canal accepts cash and card payments on the 2nd floor
• You can purchase food and drink from downstairs but please get a receipt and give to one of the DJs or Shona (we have a bar target to reach)
• When you arrive go to the 2nd floor (stairs on left hand side of the room) and quote “My Awesome Mixtape”
• The 2nd floor has a roof terrace to enjoy the last of the summer sun

Thanks to all of you who came along on Friday night for the first ‘My Awesome Mixtape’ making it a great success. I would also like to thank DJ Zbornak and DK Skirt for their awesome sets.
It looked like everyone had a good time and drank a significant amount! We reached the bar total by some degree. We had a few hiccups with the DJ equipment but apart from that it all went well. If you have any feedback, recommendations then please click on comments.
We will definitely have another night… it will be in a different location, different guest DJs and a few other changes. On the guest DJ front, quite a few of you who would like a turn so you’ll have to be patient as we already have a long list before the night!
A final note about the My Awesome Mixtape Club Night this Friday…
Doors open at 8pm – mention Jeremy or Harvey on the door to avoid paying downstairs.
